Monica joined Toastmasters in 2016 during her first visit.  She saw the benefit of what Toastmasters offered in speaking and leadership development.  She has served many offices from club level to district level.  Her goal is to educate and make sure each member receives the full measure of The Toastmasters Promise.  She believes you should show up and step up to any challenge, request, or opportunity.

Her primary role is being a fantastic YaYa to her first grandson along with mother, wife, farmer, and advocate.  When she is not being fantastic, she is a passionate Certified Maxwell Leadership Team Coach and speaker, wellness advocate in doTerra, professional organizer, plus full-time engineer/project manager.  Her goal is to provide everyone with the tools and knowledge to get healthy and maintain their health.

In 2001, Monica was involved in a major accident that put her on the path she is currently traveling.  She knows that if God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.  This event started the quest for optimal health and being her own advocate.  She strongly believes that most of the medical profession is not created for your overall wellness but on dependency.  She showed up for her health and is stepping up as an advocate for improving it and sharing with others.

Monica works with several groups in addition to Toastmasters.  She is an educational advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association and served in the local walk for two years as Mission Chair. She serves as the National Director in National Management Association (NMA) and committee member.  Monica encourages everyone to step up to personal growth and leadership challenges.  “Get out of your comfort zone and grow.  Show up: listen, contribute, and enjoy.”
